Literature Text

Vanity lays bare below me
Shame stands naked before the mirror
Their calls I don't let go unanswered
These sirens start in low,
then leave me high, strung-out and dry
I bury my evidence in ugly places
My secrets are boxed and shelved
Guilt is melted and forged
My tongue turns honey to dust
cold, dry and bitter
as the blood on my hands

In the mirror I see
the living half of him
The part with hunger
The side with fangs
I see vitality
that sleeps behind the eyes

It won't shock you, my thinking that this could be sexy if worked over right. LOL. But I do. And I also have a thing for fangs....well, I can't help it. But....this is brilliant and no reworking is required. But pardon me if I plunder it in my own mind. ;)
