My eyes are veiled with the shades of your skin
My dreams linger on you

Did you hear my music
passing by your ear?
Your song has sweetened my mind for so long,
I don't know what else to listen to
Meet Me in GloamingI enter your day
The sun beats down one last flare,
then dives for the horizon

You enter my night
The earth shakes and the stars shudder
Somewhere, the new moon hides
from the light of your honey-brown eyes

Darling, be a moth for me
Overlook my flame
Love me for my light

SheSo intoxicating is the scent of a woman,
its effect cannot be forgotten
Should she come close enough to touch,
every new chance is like the first
Her touch screams
Her kiss rakes through my every dream
Her movement drives me

The Doll with Moth Wings
The day's sun was iron
The night's moon is cotton
Wipe the sleep from your eyes, love,
but not from your voice
Let me hear the peace exempt from the day
Tell me...
Did you get out of the rain
before the dust washed off your wings?
SensationalThis world will sedate you,
then cut you wide open
Every inch of ugliness is laid bare
and the wolves feed blatantly
Your senses will be rubbed raw
You'll be force-fed offense
until you're as numb and hungry as the rest
Pretty HuskVanity flaunts and wishes you to see
She wants your attention,
be it in love or disgust

Vanity grins at your glance
She scoffs at your smile
Nothing fills her empty glass,
so she dresses up and spends her cash

Her eyes linger where they should not
Envy invades quickly and harshly
She's found another thing she can't sleep without

Evil is inviting
She's enticed to do dirty things in filthy places
with petty people with pretty faces

She needs to look away from what she desires,
for all the world consumed would not quench her
A Boy in the WoodsAt the end of an autumn eve,
he felt the warmest beauty
The trees whispered and moaned
as they were stripped bare
He built his glass house
with the deadwood of seasons past
The elements pass through, unhindered
but he is warmed by memory
Outside the door,
the high was all around him
On the inside,
he had to create it
Come Down With MeYour face is the only sight
that can tear me away from all other beauty
Your grace hovers over me
You are a lighthouse in the fog
Your fingers dance a melody
across the floor of my skin
The blood of those I've loved before
is still on my lips when we kiss

TakenI can ignore little horn's song and dance,
but he speaks somewhere in a backward mask
I grow tired, the voices sing low
and the piano strikes a minor chord

So I turn the lights down
I spin the sun out of sight
In the aegis of night,
there is a comfort absent from the day

When I need to, I can disappear
When the thunder in my head
brings a downpour to my face,
to the casual observer, I am but a glimmer
The Aging MachineThe hours are catching up with me
I don't drag as long on my cigarette
The foghorn and lighthouse have fallen from my senses
I walk deaf in every light
and blind through every sound
